Air New Zealand today announced that we may now book their much-awaited nonstop service between New York and Auckland taking off from 17 September, 2022.
The inaugural non-stop flight from John F Kennedy International Airport (Terminal 1) to Auckland will be the first ever scheduled passenger non-stop service between the United States East Coast and the South Pacific.
The flight cuts travel time from New York to New Zealand by approximately three hours, and will offer seamless connections to Australia and to destinations throughout New Zealand.
New York to Auckland will be served by the flagship NZ1 flight (NZ2 Northbound). This is a 787 with a pressured cabin which is extremely comfortable. Expect to not be a shell of yourself when you land!
