Dunedin has been called the “Edinburgh of the South”, and thus it is fitting that the city have at least one Scottish-style links course. Developed on reserve land during the 1930's depression years Chisholm Park is in fact the only true links course in Dunedin.
Many golfers consider it second only to Paraparmumu (north of Wellington), establishing the course as an institution within the golfing world.
Complete with ocean views and measuring 6300yds this track is short by today's standards. However it presents a true test and demands players strike the ball cleanly- few get the better of it on their initial round.
