Millbrook Resort

Set in a natural, alpine amphitheater against the backdrop of the Remarkables Mountain Range, the golf course at Millbrook delivers great golf with a dramatic terrain.

Millbrook Golf Course: A Majestic Mountain Escape

Originally opened in the early 1990s, Millbrook is a resort-style course located in Arrowtown. The course boasts a total of 7,000 yards of play, spread across three distinct 9-hole layouts: The Remarkables Nine, The Arrow Nine, and The Coronet Nine. This diversity provides players with a variety of options to suit their preferences.

As of 2018, exciting plans were underway to expand the course with an additional 9 holes. This expansion would have allowed members and guests to enjoy different 18-hole combinations on the same day, enhancing the overall golfing experience.

The course’s mountainous terrain showcases the dramatic scenery for which the region is renowned. The Remarkables Mountain Range serves as a stunning backdrop, while the course winds through rolling hills, streams, and wetlands, offering players a chance to appreciate the natural beauty of the area.

As the current home of the ISPS Handa New Zealand Open, Millbrook is a highly recommended destination for any golfing holiday. Consider combining a round of golf with a relaxing afternoon of wine tasting in the nearby region for a truly memorable experience.

Why Te Arai Links Is More Than a Golf Resort

Te Arai Links may be best known for its world class coastal golf, yet focusing solely on the fairways misses much of what makes this Northland retreat so special. Set between sweeping sand dunes, native bush and the Pacific Ocean, Te Arai Links offers a diverse range of experiences that appeal to far more than golfers alone. Whether you are travelling with a non golfer, planning a longer stay, or simply looking to slow down and explore the region, Te Arai Links delivers a well balanced mix of relaxation, adventure and nature....
