While the RTGC course layout is clear, the turf conditions may not meet the standards of more developed golf courses. However, the course features a watering system and offers breathtaking views of the government administration offices and surrounding mountains.
The first nine holes are played from the white tees, while the second nine are played from the blue tees. It’s important to note that if you’re playing in the afternoon, you must pause at 5 PM to respect the lowering of the flags when the government offices close for the day.
Hole Highlights:
1st Par-3: An elevated tee box with a two-tiered green and an artificial water hazard on the left.
2nd and 3rd Par-5s: Long par-5s with fairway bunkers and a deep bunker on the left side of the green.
4th Par-3: A challenging tee shot through trees with a bunker on the right and water on the left.
5th Par-4: A picturesque hole with a dogleg left and stunning views of the Trashichhodzong.
6th Par-4: The easiest hole on the course with multiple bunkers.
7th Par-4: A unique uphill tee shot with a historical significance.
8th Par-3: A challenging hole with an elevated tee box and a green-side bunker.
9th Par-4: A long par-4 with a fairway bunker and a green located near the clubhouse.
