Robb Report calls out "New Zealand's Great Eight" in November, 2016 issue

In this month's issue of The Robb Report (Nov. 2016) James A. Frank has penned the article "New Zealand's Great Eight" which lists his top courses to play in the country.

For those who have played New Zealand there should be no surprise as to some of the entries, and we are quite pleased to see a few of the "experience" courses listed. Titirangi and Paraparaumu are gems of the country and provide the visiting golfer a bit of history in addition to a nice challenge. That these courses are listed amongst the Tara Iti's et al validates that indeed great golf architecture is relevant and appreciated even when played with more modern equipment.

The 8 courses listed in the article are:

  • Tara Iti
  • Kauri Cliffs
  • Cape Kidanppers
  • The Kinloch Club
  • Titirangi
  • Paraparaumu
  • The Hills
  • Jack's Point

Although, with all due respect to the author, we feel that there could have been a few additions to the list, the article demonstrates New Zealand is beginning to get well-deserved attention in the world of golf.

As always, if interested in playing these courses via a well thought out and efficient itinerary please do not hesitate to contact our team!
